Position: Retail Butcher (NOC 63201)

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Work setting

Grocery Store

Job Duties:

Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
Wrap and package prepared meats
Weigh meats for sale
Cut poultry into parts
Price meat products
Grind meats

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Standing for extended periods
Attention to detail
Physically demanding

Employment Conditions:

Evening, Morning, Day, Weekend

Hourly Rate: CAD $19.00 to $21.00 hourly (To be negotiated)

Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week
