Job Overview:

Rafat General Contracting is looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in estimating the cost and scope of various projects, ranging from civil, industrial, commercial, and institutional construction to landscaping and streetscape works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimate costs for construction projects, including commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential construction.
• Provide detailed estimates for projects valued at $8,000,001+.
• Specialize in project management and manage cost forecasting for buildings and structures.
• Conduct quantity surveying and demolition-related tasks.
• Collaborate on projects involving electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering aspects.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Surveying Technology/Surveying or a related field.
• Experience: 5 years or more of relevant experience in estimating large-scale construction projects.
• Languages: Proficiency in English is required.

Specializations:

• Experience in civil, electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering within construction.
• Expertise in project size estimating for projects exceeding $8 million.
• Familiarity with various types of construction, including commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential.

Work Setting:

• On-site work required in Bolton, ON. This is an on-site position, and there is no option for remote work.
