We are currently looking for an two experienced individuals to fill our " Henna tattoo artist " position at our SPA, Softtouch Spa And Hair Inc.
Softtouch Spa and Hair Inc. is our SPA located in Scarborough and specializing in body wrap, facial peels, IPL, microdermabrasion, injection treatments, pedicures and manicures.
We are looking for experienced and passionate individuals to join our Softtouch team! The ideal candidates must be able to communicate in English with excellent oral communication skills and have a minimum of a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. We are also looking for a candidate who has minimum of two (2) years to less than three (3) years’ experience in a related position.
The candidates will be responsible for the aesthetic services of our spa. You will be in charge of advising customers on beauty products suited to customers' colouring and skin type. You will be in charge of conducting Mendhi (henna – temporary designs). You will be in charge of providing product demonstrations to customers. You will also be in charge of scheduling and confirming appointments.
Work conditions and physical capabilities for this position include, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and hand-eye co-ordination. The ideal candidate should be able to complete repetitive tasks and have an eye for attention to detail. You will have to work with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking and at times you may be standing for extended periods of time.
We are looking for a candidate who is extremely client focused with efficient interpersonal skills. You must be a team player and be able to have reliability within the work environment.
This job requires supervision of 5-10 people at a time. The work environment can be noisy and busy at times.

This is a permanent and full-time position requiring 37.5 hours/week with an hourly pay of $18.00-$20.00/hour. We are accepting applications from Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary residents of Canada.
