VENUS PLUMBING LTD   Job Title: Plumber Helper Location: Abbotsford, BC Wages: $20.77/hr for 30 – 40 hrs/week Vacancies: 3 Job type: Full-time, Permanent Anticipated start date: ASAP   Description: We are looking for Plumber helpers responsible for assisting leading plumbers and making minor repairs at homes and residences.   Job Responsibilities of Plumber helper include:

• Install Plumbing systems, make minor repairs and diagnose plumbing issues
• Assist leading plumbers with plumbing system installations
• Clean drains, check and replace water heaters, run tests on pumps
• Inspect, repair and replace pumps, valves, boiler systems
• Meet customer service expectations through communication, problem resolution
• Operate and install wide variety of equipment
• Determine Water supply networks and waste drainage systems
• Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes according to requirement
• Maintain and keep construction site clean

  Requirements:

• No degree, certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
• Ability to work Independently and handle various projects
• Previous experience in construction will be an asset
• Working knowledge of plumbing tools
• Pay attention to detail
• Able to kneel, crouch and bend for extended period
• Ability to carry hand and power tools and supplies
