Requirements:
Education:
- Completion of secondary school is usually required.
- diploma in college or university degree is an asset.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in the occupation supervised is required.
Language Requirement: English
The main duties of hair salon supervisor are as follows:
- Coordinate, assign and oversee the work of the hairstylist, front desk and other employees.
- Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports
- Training new staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies; establishing work schedules and procedures.
- Requisition supplies and materials.
- Ensure smooth operation of customer database systems.
- Keeping records of expenditure, sales figures, and employee/hairstylist performance.
- Investigating market trends and offering products that would appeal to customers.
- Addressing customers' requests, comments, and complaints.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working conditions and physical capabilities and meet the following qualifications:
- Recent related experience is required
- Extra experience or education and second language is an asset
- Advanced knowledge of managing &supervising store skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills experience.
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizing, planning and problem-solving skills
- Repetitive tasks
