Job duties and qualification include:

A certificate or degree in winemaking from an accredited academic institution
2 years to less than 3 years working experience in other winery environments (full time cellar work with experience operating pumps, presses, filters)
Strong mechanical skills in relation to winery equipment maintenance and upkeep
Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds, work on and around ladders, catwalks, uneven flooring, in hot, cold, and wet environments with typical winery chemical exposure and conditions
Ability to work in a changing environment
Ability to solve technical/processing problems as they arise
Experience with both the practical and technical aspects of the winemaking process
Experience with both the practical and technical aspects of the winemaking process
Experience with South America grapes and juices is required
Some experience in micro vinification and vinegar bleeding
Ability to supervise when needed

Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience

Languages: English and Spanish

Position starts at $27.85 working 35 hours/week

Legally able to work in Canada

Certificate or degree in winemaking from an accredited institution
